    ArtWalk Longview Downtown

ArtWalk Longview is a FREE, self-guided tour of downtown and midtown businesses exhibiting and selling art. Musicians and other performance arts are frequently part of the event. ArtWalk Longview is a cooperative event among the businesses in downtown Longview who believe in the promotions of art for the benefit of the Longview Community. ArtWalk was initially created to be a downtown event, with the goal of attracting more people to our downtown area to enjoy the museums, restaurants, and businesses that are open and exhibiting artists. The event has grown over the years and expanded to an additional midtown event, and we now regularly have food trucks, street musicians, as well as the artists. ArtWalk is FREE to the public and depends on the participation of businesses to find artists to host, and invite guests to attend primarily through social media and word of mouth. We do provide a map of participants prior to each event.

ARTISTS INFORMATION: Artists may contact a business owner directly about hosting for an ArtWalk OR there is usually space to exhibit in the CNB lobby. To use the LMFA Sculpture Garden stage or grounds you must contact the LMFA at 903-753-8103. Setting up on the sidewalk is OK just get permission from the business owner if in front of their business. Look on facebook for a business that might be looking for an artist to host. You are responsible for your own set up (table, chairs, easels, etc).

INTERESTED BUSINESS OWNER INFORMATION: See ARTIST info above, you may host inside or outside your business - look on our facebook page for potential artists looking for a place to exhibit.

•If you are participating in ArtWalk be sure to CONTACT US and let us know which date and where so we can add you to the map!
